Ch 30: Do You Think I’m Dirty Just By Touching Me?
“Stay away from him from now on.”
Shen Mingyue didn’t turn around; her voice was muffled.
“Why?”
Gu Yuanzhou thought of Zeng Tian’s heroic deeds and couldn’t help but sigh.
“Don’t ask so much, just listen to me.”
Although Shen Mingyue was curious, since Gu Yuanzhou had said so, she didn’t ask any further.
After giving Shen Mingyue a back massage, Gu Yuanzhou also helped her press her shoulders. While working his hands, he asked, “How’s the strength?”
Shen Mingyue was so comfortable she was about to sigh. This man’s fingers were slender, with clearly defined knuckles, yet the strength and rhythm of his massage on her back seemed like he had been trained.
“It’s pretty good, comfortable.”
Because she was too relaxed, Shen Mingyue’s voice changed. As soon as she spoke, she was startled, her ears turning red. Why did those words sound so… suggestive?
Gu Yuanzhou’s pressing fingers slowed down a beat; he didn’t speak again. He had never given anyone a massage before; this was all improvisation.
If it were someone else, they would have gotten impatient after a while, but Gu Yuanzhou was very patient, and he massaged Shen Mingyue for forty minutes. Several times Shen Mingyue wanted to interrupt, but it was so comfortable that she swallowed her words back down.

Did this mean she could massage him now?

“I’m not massaging you!”
Gu Yuanzhou looked bewildered. A moment ago, he said he didn’t need it, but she insisted on massaging him. Now that he agreed, she didn’t want to.

Gu Yuanzhou didn’t know why Shen Mingyue was angry, but he could feel her emotions. He didn’t pretend nothing was wrong but gently patted Shen Mingyue.
“What’s wrong? Are you unhappy?”
Shen Mingyue thought, since they are a couple, he thought touching her was dirty. What a germaphobe! So many quirks.
“No.”
Shen Mingyue’s voice was cold, not like it was before.
Gu Yuanzhou frowned, his thin lips pursed.
“Did I do something to make you angry? I’m sorry.”
Gu Yuanzhou knew he must have done something wrong, but he didn’t know what it was. No matter what, apologizing first was always right.
Shen Mingyue wasn’t comfortable explaining the reason. If she did, she would be laughed to death, so she closed her eyes and pretended to be mute.
Gu Yuanzhou couldn’t do anything about it. Seeing this, he didn’t say anything more, turned off the lights, and prepared to sleep.
Shen Mingyue thought she would fall asleep in a short while with her eyes closed, but she couldn’t sleep for a long time.
A moment ago she thought Gu Yuanzhou was annoying, but on second thought, it wasn’t a big deal. Besides, she had been planning to use him as a tool. Since they were a fake couple, why get angry?
Gu Yuanzhou had been so good to her, and yet she was acting so high and mighty.
After thinking it over, she felt her behavior was inappropriate. In the darkness, Shen Mingyue turned over and poked Gu Yuanzhou with her finger.
“Are you going to give a massage now?”
Gu Yuanzhou hadn’t slept either. Hearing her say this, he turned around.
“Mingyue, I haven’t really interacted with many female comrades, so I may have done something to upset you. If I did something wrong, making you unhappy, tell me directly, and I will try my best to change.”
Gu Yuanzhou said these words sincerely. Although the lights were off, Shen Mingyue could still see his eyes.

When Shen Mingyue went to the shop, Tian Shufang also went. After all, it was her daughter-in-law’s shop opening; the family couldn’t ignore it, fearing Shen Mingyue would be unhappy.
