About The Case When I Started Living With A Cool Goddess-Sama, But Because Of Being Too Spoiled, She Ended Up Becoming A Clumsy Useless Person (WN) MTL – Chapter 15

Chapter 15: A Sudden Visitor

Suqin was sound asleep when I came back from the pharmacy.

The fever will take away your strength, and it would be better for you to get a good night’s sleep.

She had changed into a white T-shirt and shorts, probably because she was sweating.

Cooling sheets and masks will be fine as long as you have Suikoto-san use them after she wakes up.

I realized that I had forgotten to humidify the room, so I refilled the humidifier and turned it on.

I tend to forget to use it, but I should at least use it when someone is sick with a cold.

Then I took some mystery novels off the shelf.

I haven’t read any of them since I bought them, so this is a good opportunity for me to read some of them.

I brought a chair next to Mizukoto-san and sat down with a paperback in my hand.

After a few hours of me reading mystery novels, I got a poke in the leg.

Mizukoto-san was sleeping in a T-shirt under the covers, and she was looking up at me.

Akibara-kun.

“What?”

I need a glass of water.

“Copy that.”

I stood up and filled a glass with water and handed it to Suikoto.

Then she put her lips to the cup, drank it down and said, “Thank you.” “Thank you.

That’s when it hit me.

I think this is the first time you’ve honestly asked me for a favor.

I stared into Suikin-san’s blue eyes.

“What?”

Suikoto-san asked me with a confused look on her face.

I shook my head.

It’s nothing.

Yeah?

Is there anything else you want me to do?

“I need to go to the bathroom…”

Can’t you walk?

“I think I can walk, but I might wobble on the way…”

“Do you want my support?”

Suqin nodded her head.

I wonder if Suqin-san suddenly became more honest because she was weak from the cold or because I told her to accept good intentions.

I reached out my hand to Mizukoto-san and she took my hand and got up.

Her beautiful silver hair sways softly.

I followed her to the bathroom as she told me to.

“I’m sorry, I’m embarrassed…”

“I’m not going to wait in front of the bathroom.”

I smiled and Mizukoto-san retreated into the bathroom.

I kept a little distance from her and waited for her. When she came out of the bathroom, I took her back to the futon.

When I got under the covers Suqin-san coughed.

“I’ve got some cough medicine. Do you need it?”

“… Yeah.”

I went and got another glass of water and handed it to Suikin-san.

And Suqin received it, but just after she lifted it up to drink it, it slipped from her hand.

The cup overturned, spilling all its contents all over Suikin-san’s body.

“Hyah!”

Suikin screamed cutely.

I looked down and saw that my T-shirt was soaked through, and my underwear was showing through around my chest.

I’m sorry.

I hurriedly looked away, but Suikin-san looked at me strangely.

“Why are you apologizing, Akibara-kun? I’m the one who spilled it.

“No, it’s a lot of stuff… Anyway, we can wipe up later, so just get dressed. It’s cold, right?”

“Akibara-kun, why are you being so nice to me?”

Suikoto-san asked me in her wet nightclothes.

You don’t have to ask me in that outfit, of all places.

I looked away and answered.

I don’t have a reason.

Suikin-san hears that and asks in a doubtful voice.

“Look me straight in the eye. Why are you looking away?”

The wet fabric of her nightgown clung tightly to her white skin, making her underwear more and more clearly visible.

I thought about how pretty it was that she was wearing a pink bra with a floral design on it, and I thought about how unimportant it was.

It would’ve been even more troublesome if Suikoto-san had found out first.

“Ms. Suqin, your underwear is transparent.”

At my words, Suikoto-san looked at her breasts and her face turned red.

Then, in a panic, he tried to pull the blankets over him to cover him, and seemed to realize that he was soaking wet.

I guess you don’t want to get your blanket wet.

He was at a loss for what to do.

I’m gonna go outside and you can get dressed.

I said that and pulled down the sliding door separating the room where Suikoto-san was sleeping from the rest of the house.

I’m afraid you’re a bit careless, Suikin-san.

Then the intercom rang.

Who’s that?

I was about to get up to answer it when he said, “Haruto! You’re not here!” I heard a voice.

And then there’s a clanking sound of a lock being opened.

It was obvious who was coming.

One of three people who have keys to this room.

This is my childhood friend, Sasaki Kaho.
