Chapter 213: The fruits of my love with Master Kaizaru
“A striking sorcerer… What? There’s no such sorcerer! Do you think I’m an idiot? I’ve risen to S rank as an adventurer in the kingdom and I’ve never heard of such a sorcerer! “
So would I.
This striking magic was inspired by Kaisaru-sama’s phrase [there was an unfortunate fellow called Ebiwara whose fists could attack with fire, ice, lightning and other attributes, but at first they weren’t powerful at all and everyone made fun of him, but once he got his steel fists with separate physical and special techniques no one laughed at Ebiwara any more. I got the idea from a phrase he used in a casual conversation, and I improved upon it and made it my own.
The reason why I was thrown into slavery in the first place is because I couldn’t release the magic in my body as magic and even though I have a lot of magic power from the start I couldn’t even use the [torch] magic let alone the [fireball] which even a child can handle.
I’d like to punch him for getting so excited when he asked me to go on a picnic that day… and for being so kind to me.
It was not a picnic after all, but an excuse to lure me to the village, an excuse to sell me out to the slavers who had come all the way to the elven village to buy me.
However, I am deeply moved by the fact that I am here today because of them.
And I was about to give up when I heard about Kaisar-sama’s story.
If we can’t release it outside, we can build up the magic inside.
From there it was a continuous process of trial and error until my body was literally falling to pieces… and I had Kaisaru-sama patch up my wounded limbs every day… and somehow we managed to put it into shape… our own, no, it was a joint effort between us… and Kaisaru-sama. It is a new method of combat for the two of us.
It’s no exaggeration to say that this is the fruit of the love between me and Master Kaizal.
It’s still a bit rough around the edges, but I’m confident enough to say that I can’t be beaten by any of the S-ranked adventurers out there who’ve fallen into the role of bouncer.
And one day I’m gonna beat the crap out of everyone who left me.
“Whether you’ve heard of it or not, isn’t it obvious from the sword that blocked my attack? “I point to the ice chunks that have formed on the spot where the sword that blocked my attack just now struck.
